What is Landscaping?

Covington LandscapingLandscaping is the process of creating and managing the outdoor appearance of an area, typically a home or business property. It can include the addition of plants, rocks, or other decorative elements.

The creative aspect of landscaping can be as simple as a single container garden, or it could encompass complex projects that involve many plants, soils, flower beds, and irrigation systems.

The job may include clearing debris from the area where there has been previous construction, installing drainage features like retention ponds or rain gardens, and leveling the ground.

Once the landscaping is complete, it’s important to have a maintenance plan in place to keep everything looking its best.

This may include weekly or biweekly visits from a lawn care company, seasonal tasks like trimming trees and shrubs, weed control, or installing irrigation systems that will water automatically.
